How We Work

We began our relief work in Nepal following two devastating earthquakes in April and May of 2015 that took lives of more than 8,800 people, more than 500,000 houses were destroyed. Around 8 million people were affected by the quakes in the worst-affected districts of Gorkha, Lamjung, Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Dhading, Bhaktapur, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Kavrepalanchok, Sindhuli, Sindhupalchok and Solukhumbu (Everest region). The recovery phase of our earthquake relief work has begun in Everest region ( our project site) since September, 2015 mainly focusing on supply of most essential emergency supplies for those survivors in the badly-affected rural areas. The survivors have nothing left; everything was buried under the debris.

In this difficult time , we requested some of our friends and well-wishers in the US for the humanitarian support and they wholeheartedly donated us. With their donated money we bought and provided some Tarpaulins, household items, food, blankets and stationery for the survivors including school children in Everest region.
