Healthcare Relief Distribution
With the push of educational relief distribution project, our organization also puts a heavy emphasis in advocating for healthcare equity and in promoting healthcare literary in local village in the Everest region. Healthcare system in the Everest region is still in the progress of improving. Health education is still a subject that has only been taught to a hand full of people and the old ways of medical practice is still ongoing in the local region. Women’s right to receiving equal education is still an issue in the region, which makes the menstrual and sex education a challenging topic to talk about. Our organization has been working on the issues of promoting women’s healthcare and education, so that the local girls and women are educated about these taboo subject matters and are confident to protect themselves from poor outcomes.
